Guiding teams toward operational excellence
Alone, you go faster, but together, you go further.
My conviction is that the manager's core mission is to enable the company to reach its objectives by embodying its strategic vision. In the complex and exciting world of cybersecurity, that means putting the business back at the heart of the security effort. We don't just protect servers, we protect what keeps the company alive.
A true transmission belt between C-level and teams, the manager keeps information flowing between decision-makers and the field, to reach optimal operational security.
My path as a manager was built in stages, each one widening the scope of the last.
Responsibility was first entrusted to me for coordinating a project's activities at SIGNALIS, before it extended to all integrators: a step up in scope that let me support and coach them, an exciting experience.
The scope then widened further at Overkiz, to people as much as to production and its specific constraints: the platform's security and availability were at the heart of the contract that bound us to our customers.
The scope grew again afterward at CA-GIP, with responsibility for several teams and advanced cyber topics handled alongside experts who often knew more than me about their own field.
Every opportunity is a chance to learn and take part in ever-wider successes.
